Sagittarius Dessert: Naked S’mores Cake

This is the eleventh creation in my zodiac dessert series where I design a delicious dessert for each sign.

This is for Sagittarius.

Naked graham cake with smoked marshmallows, fireball ganache and graham cookie butter buttercream.

A Sagittarius is the person you randomly meet at a campfire who you talk to for hours about your dreams and make road trip plans with, and then you never see them again. Known for spontaneity and a love of travel, Sagittarians can be found at any casual gathering that suits both a group of close friends or total strangers staying up late sharing philosophical conversations.

A Sagittarius cake couldn’t not be naked as they are the first to suggest skinny dipping (clothes are a prison, right?) and will always make sure you know what they’re feeling on the inside. Sagittarians are typically a little TMI and loud, just like this dessert.

To honour this fire sign, the chocolate ganache piled atop this cake got a confident and blunt spike of Fireball Whiskey, and the marshmallows received an inviting and warm toast. The graham cookie butter buttercream walks the fine line between being on the adventurous side and being downright charming enough to introduce to your parents.

This cake can annoying and messy to cut into but still oh so seductive. Quite frankly, I only need one slice.
